Rotating brownout!

Its been a month since Mindanao is experiencing a rotating brownout. Here in our city we have 8 to 10 hours power outage a day. Personally, I feel very disgusted about this problem. I am so affected not only at home but specially at work. In our office, sad to say that our 2 personal computer and my printer have barred down. Fluctuating power supply causes severe damage of our office equipment. My boss talk to our department head regarding this matter and she requested new units for our office. How I wish my old epson printer will be replace by an epson tm-t88iv model as soon as possible because I really needed it to cope up with my back logs.

Wrong Notion

I admit I have wrong notion about having a credit cards before cause I know many persons use credit cards for bad credit, however this thought have change when my brother enlighten my mind. He told me that having a credit card is an advantage and its just a matter of self control on how to use it. Actually I have my own now cause I need it when I entered paid blogging unfortunately every time I will used it I need Lainy to rescue me. Just so thankful to her for being so helpful and very supportive. Love her so much!

Power Outage pissed me off!

Our city is in power crisis since month of January. During the first month we have experience 15 minutes power outage every 4 hours. In my own point of view, this is very tolerable hence 15 minutes is a short span of time. However, in this month of February it became worst. Can you imagine 8 hours of no power in a day? Though this is divide into 3 schedules yet, for me it is not reasonable. In our area the power outage schedule are as follows 4 am to 6 am, 11 am to 2pm and 5 pm to 8 pm. I've asked my friends in nearby cities if they have encountered same problem and I've learned they have no power outage like our city. How come?

Fit and Fab!

Last night I was able to watch Fit and Fab at Q11. They have featured summer gate aways and how will make summer an enjoyable one. One of the places they have featured was the longest zip line in Asia which is located at Bukidnon City. Beautiful beaches in Samal City, Palawan and Boracay are most favorable to visit. They also featured exercise equipment including elliptical machines to help tone the muscles and make the body fit and beautiful. I enjoyed the whole show for its magazine type of reporting, very informative, love it!

Compulsory!

I've been working in the Local Government Unit nearly 6 years and I can say I am enjoying my stay in every office I was assigned with. In this span of time I invested time, effort and emotion with the people I have worked with. This year the association of LGU Kidapawan employees called KCGEA launched a new project name Sagip Buhay which helps and give benefits of LGU workers. This month 2 days before Valentines day they have added clinicard benefits in addition to the life insurance policy they have given in previous years. This benefit however is deducted to the CNA benefits that is yearly given to all LGU workers.

So Lovely!

This is picture is included in the folder of my favorite shots. I can't stop my self taking pictures using CANON EOS 450D especially now that I can see how lovely the photos I was taken. Now, I can really see the difference of a mere digital camera from a professional camera. I am so amaze how the lens works to capture beautiful scenery. This shot is nearly perfect in my taste hehehe!

No rush

Last January we finally transfer the ownership of the tricycle we have purchase. Along with the transfer was the dropping of its franchise. We are just very thankful because there were slots remaining for the franchise and we need not wait for 6 months for it. Ate Cathy of the SP department help us to process our papers and I personally take charge the payments of the insurances .Being online is a big advantage thus I can pay insurance online, with a click of my mouse. No need to rush!

Special Recruitment Activity!

Since 1st week of February Public Employment Service Office is fully book. Different agencies have reserved their slots to conduct special recruitment activity on our city. Since January we have accommodated 6 agencies recruiting employees to work abroad. This week we have 2 more agencies which will conduct pre-employment screening of applicants. Most of them hire domestic helpers and skilled workers. So far, the turn out of this activity is rated very satisfactory!

Improving!

This is my latest shot using the new toy of my brother. I am very happy with the result of my shots because I saw improvements on it. In this picture, I use manual focus with macro effect. By the way, this is a flower of Ampalaya vegetables in our garden. It looks like a big flower isn't it? To those familiar with this vegetables the flower is very small yet lovely to capture!

Irritated

I am so happy for my brother because his facial problem is already solved. The acne on his face was vanished like a bubble. So long with this good news for him was a bad news for me because 4 tiny acne on neck was spotted on me 3 days ago. It is very itchy and am very irritated every time I see it. I better asked my bro the medicine he used so that I can medicate as soon as possible.

Postpone!

It is been a tradition of the City that every foundation anniversary Jobs Fair and mobile pass-porting is conducted but this year it was postpone because the Department of Foreign Affairs is on transition period. Instead of February they have book us for the month of April. Our manager said, Jobs Fair would not be completed if there in mobile passporting on it. As of today, job seekers is flocking at the office to submit their respective applications and resume in preparation for the Jobs Fair on the said month. We also had our directory submissions of our encoded applicants to the Department of Labor and Employment for their references.

Playing the lense

I discovered my passion in photography when I was in High School. When I joined the school press my interest has widen and I love it more than I expected. During those days, digital camera was very expensive and I am still using a a film camera. When I started working, one of my goal is to save money to buy my own digital camera. Even it is a auto focus camera, I am really trying to get my subject emphasize. In this picture, I used the CANON EOS 450D which I barrow to my youngest brother. I used manual focus on this picture, I love the result but I know I need to practice more for a better quality shot. How I wish I can have my own professional camera!

Night regimen!

My mama is already 60 years old but she looks younger that her age. What I admire her most is she don't forget her night regimen. She sees to it the she cleans her face before she sleeps and part of it is the application of the under eye cream which works beautifully on her skin. How I wish I have the same courage and willingness same as my mother so that I can look like her.

Alternative Medicine!

Our family practice and believes in the healing power of alternative medicine. The boy in the picture is my nephew Andrei. He had his capping session last Saturday morning after he took a bath. At the age of 5, Dei-dei understands the importance of health. He is the one who requested me to do the capping because he felt that his back is so heavy. Next time, I will convince him to try the acupuncture! By the way, this shot is taken by my youngest using the manual focus of his new toy!

Willingness

My best friend Iris is on her second month of her diet regimen. I was able to see her last February 5 at Davao City and I can say her willingness to trim down really works. Aside from regular exercise, eating less she also uses the best fat burning supplement in town. I am very happy for my bessie for her achievement. Hmmmm... I feel envy of her figure now!

Picture Perfect!

My youngest brother got his new toy! It is the latest CANON DSLR Eos 450 with 12.1 mega-pixels. My bro and I have a lot in common, we both love photography, we have same taste on gadgets, we love eating and many many more. This is one of his shot on his son Andrei using manual focus. For me it is picture perfect for a beginner. We both familiarizing the usage of the camera hence it is only 3 days old on our hands hehehehe.... More beautiful pictures soon!

Sale!

The City of Kidapawan will be celebrating its 12th Foundation Anniversary this coming Friday. The whole week activity started last Monday. Appliance centers and Department stores joined the celebration by giving out sale items. Yesterday I saw a modern sofas and mind you they will be giving 20% discount. Wow, its a great deal, how I wish anniversary bonus will be given so that I can have one. Wish, wish, wish!

Series of Power Outage!

I've noticed that the day would not be completed without a series of power outage. Today we have experience 3 power shut down that lasted 20 minutes each. I find it very irritating specially now that we have reports to be submitted on time. Sometimes my computer is hanging up and some of my files were missing. It pissed me off, how I wish this coming days there will be zero outage. I better call the COTELCO now, lol!

Latest!

This is my first time to heard about a metal tiles when I watch discovery channel yesterday. I am not that familiar as I do with the wood tiles, the granites as well as the ceramic tiles. I am really amaze when I saw it in television. Modern buildings use it now, wow technology really rocks. How I wish I can saw it real very soon.

Watch it again..

At long last, I can watch my favorite channel after of 6 months of no cable connection at home. Last night, I watch the replay of equestrian during the Sea Games held last year. I really admire Tony, the way she manage her horse love it. I just love watching her riding and when the horse jump over the breeches you can really feel their camaraderie. Their team up really explodes. I wish Tony can joined the Olympics next time. Hope she can bring home the bacon by that time!

We miss him!

This is Richard our good buddy. We miss him at work. The last time we saw him here in the office was second week of December. He is our errand boy here at PESO. We thought after of two weeks of not showing up because he got sick, he will be back January of 210 but unfortunately our expectation failed. We talked to his mom and asked when he will be reporting for duty but his mom just says I don't know. Tsk...tsk... tsk...too bad! We hope Chard will show up one of this days... We wish him good health !

I remember!

When I was still working at Department of Trade and Industry, I have a good mentor and we called him Kuya Carl. We do respect him a lot because he is smart, witty and very down to earth. During the first year of my stay at DTI family, I have a chance to meet his family or the entire clan specially during his birthday celebration. Its been a tradition in that office to have a token for the celebrants. I was the one who was assign to buy a gift for Big Kuya that time and I can't think of something except for an electronic cigarette hence I knew he likes it cause he is a chain smoker lol... When he open the gift he had a crisp loud laugh and told me you're my girl Bregie! So glad to reminisce the past.

Connection is clear!

Two days after my cable application, last Saturday afternoon all are set for the connection. My nephew is very excited cause after 6 months he can again watch his favorite cartoon series Ben 10. I also called up my brother in Davao for the good news, he is very happy about it and he said its very timely cause he is planning to buy another set of television for his room and he prefers a Samsung HDTV series compare with other brands on the locality. Wish in few months time internet connection will reach our place!
