Blog and Win at Lainy's Blogoversary Celebration

I FOUND A NEW WORLD:

I found a new world in blogging. I never thought that through blogging, I can meet a new batch of friends. Lainy introduced the world of blogging to me late quarter of year 2007. At first, I was so hesitant when she convinces me to sign up with blogger.com. I have lots of alibis to her because I know my capability and I don’t have a gift of writing. But with Lainy’s charm and charisma, no one can say no to her. With her zillions of convincing power, my blogging journey begins.

FEELING THE HARD TIMES BUT SHE RESCUED ME:

I had a hard time when I’ve started blogging. Since I am not a born writer, I don’t know what to blog about. My page was empty, I have few topics in mind but I can’t articulate it well. I felt be little when I encountered gifted bloggers. There are times that I felt awkward of my post and thinking not to blog anymore. Again Lainy is there to lift up my spirit. As my mentor, she always encourages me to write anything. She always told me not to give-up and continues on my writings hence; everyone has a room for improvement. She patiently taught me how to enhance and develop my sites. Every time she discovers new tricks, she shared it to me whole-heartedly. She is ever supportive of me from day one of my blogging life until now.

MEETING NEW FRIENDS:

Friends may come and go but a real one seldom comes never go; it is very true in this new found world of mine. I met a lot of personalities online but only few stayed in touch with me. Before I felt bad about it but I've realized why should I get affected hence wonderful friendship never measure on the numbers of friends I have. Even I have few friends online now, I can say that they are true and I can count on them even in my darkest time.

Lerma of Twerlyn’s Blogs:

I met her last February of 2008 during her wedding. The meeting was very memorable, the three of us (Lainy, Lerma and I ) had a Grand Eyeball hence it was also the first time I met Lainy and her family personally. I found Lerma as a sweet friend from day one until now.

Jessie of What Have You:

I am a big fan of this person; In fact I called him Master Jessie. I find him very witty and talented. What I like him most is that he shared his skills and knowledge openly. Master can be a friend of everyone, I hope Lainy and I can meet Master Jessie and his wife Jen soon.

Ivy of Designer Chic:

I admire her creativity. She is the woman behind the lay-outs of my 3 blogs namely Briggs Time for Escapades, Revealing Oneself and Briggs Kiss and Tell . This pretty lady is friendly and sweet and a certified BISDAK. Lainy introduces Ivy to me last year and from then she became my good friend.

This person is like a little brother to us. I've known him through Lainy 2 years ago. He is a young blogger who've achieve so much. I supposedly meet him last July 2008 when I was in Manila but time doesn't permit us to see each other. I wish we can meet him soon!

ADDITIONAL INCOME:

I don’t have notions of having additional income when I join blogging. Again, with Lainy’s untiring support and convincing power I was able to join the world of paid blogging. My income from blogging is not that big yet it can be of help. I see to it that every penny I spent from my income is accounted for and anything that I bought would be useful. I treasure the money I’ve got from blogging, especially nowadays that my family is in the middle of financial crisis.

TRUE FRIEND/ A SISTER TO ME:

They say that you will know who your real friends are when you are experiencing the darkest time of your life. I totally agree with this thought. Just recently I’ve encountered the most devastating experience in my life. With the mistake I’ve committed, my family’s welfare was sacrifice. I gave so much pain and heartaches to my parents and brothers. I am just so thankful that I have a loving family and real friends who never judged me. Despite of what I’ve done to my family, they embraced me and showed so much love and support. When I told Lainy of my real situation, she listens to me and never heard any negative comment from her. I am not surprised though hence I knew that she is rational and broad minded person so as his prince my brother and good friend Scott. I just don’t find a real friend in Lainy but a sister dear to me. I am so blessed to have her in my life. Thanks to blogging!

Adam Lambert is Versatile!

Adam Lambert once again proves his versatility in this week's performance. He received another standing ovation when he gave justice to a ballad song. Adam is known who loves rock but after his Idol performance last Wednesday, I can say he can be the next American Idol. Simon Cowell who is known to be harsh with the contender was knock by Lambert's talent and gave him thumbs up!

My brother is keep on complaining how itchy his skin was since Monday. My mom advise him to let it check up so that it can be treated immediately. Yesterday, he went to the dermatologist and he learned that it was an acne. Doc, Thess gave him a lotion, soap and ointment for treatment. She said that this summer a lot of skin diseases will be expected like adult acne,boils and skin rashes because of the sweat. She added " to avoid such diseases take a bath everyday and keep ourself clean all the time".

Andrei is in Davao now!

I miss my nephew Andrei. He is now in Davao with his parents. They decided to bring Andrei with them after what happen to me. It was a big sacrifice for us but we are thinking for my nephew's welfare. I can't attend him for the meantime so as my mom hence I am not yet on my best health condition. Every night, we called him up and I can't help but cry every time he told me "Tita, I miss you so much and when will you visit me here?". I told him very soon babe, Tita will visit you there!

Training

Last night, I and best friend Iris got a chance to chat after quite sometime of not going online. We had discussed about my health, my work, her studies and her plan for a summer vacation. In the the middle of our conversation I open up about the sales training that his brother had told me 3 weeks ago. I asked some updates for that event hence I was out of lime light since I was hospitalized for 10 days. She told me, that the training was postponed and will be pursue after holy week so If I am still interested I can still joined the training.

I miss my work!

I miss my work, I've been out of the office since March 9. My doctor advice me rest for at least 60 days but if everything will be alright soon I can go back for work after 30 days. To date I'm really trying to rest and re-gain my health status. Last Monday, I went back to the hospital for my follow-up check up and again my doctors gave me maintenance medicines for another two weeks and advice to go back by 1st week of April. Wish me luck!

Earrings!

When I was hospitalized for 10 days, its been an emotional down fall for my whole family.I stayed 10 days in the hospital with unstable health condition. When I was scheduled for my operation the attendant requested me remove all the jewelry am wearing that time. After my operation I asked my mom where did she put my earrings, she told me that he wrapped it with a green paper and inserted in my bags pocket. When I've checked it, I found nothing inside my bag. I feel so sad cause that was my favorite jewelry, my mom gave that to me when I've graduated my second course.
I wish it was just missed placed...

Updating!

Its been a while since I haven't open my paypal account. This morning I tried to access my account and the site is on the process of updating their database. They asked my full account again and asked two security question for my protection. I just wish that everything will be updated accordingly and I can access the site anytime I want without any hassle.

Hear it Out!

I can't say that I am a musically incline person but I love music. During my spare time I used to listen to different kinds of music from jazz, classical, modern, pop and alternative. I also love the beat of reggae music, it is very soothing and relaxing. Just wish to have Bluetooth headset so that I can fully enjoy all the music I downloaded in my MP4 Player without sacrificing my eardrum hehehe!

Virus Attack

Last night I can't open my blog sites cause by a virus attack. I feel very disgusted hence I don't have installed anti- virus on my computer. I tried to download one software but my connection can't get it through hence I am just using a 3g connection of SmartBro, grrrrr.... I felt so helpless. The whole night I am thinking of what I am gonna do to eliminate that virus. Good thing was I scan my USB's and hola I found two anti-virus software... Thanks GOD, it was all fix and am here again hehehehe....

Custom made

Two weeks ago, our supplier called me up informing me that they will gonna deliver some of the supplies we have ordered. I personally checked all the deliveries to insure its completeness and keep it on the safety cabinet. I've noticed in the delivery that there is a custom made rubber stamp that was not included in our list of purchase. I called the attention of our supplier and he is very thankful cause he told me he is looking for that item that was supposedly delivered to another office.

Its Good to be back!

Finally, am here again in the world of blogging, after almost two weeks of staying in the hospital. I miss visiting my favorite sites, updating my blogs, chatting with friends, I miss everything that goes with the cyber world. Though I am not yet fully recovered,my time is still limited. I just peep and read my friends blogs once in a while then rest my eyes again. I know some of you are puzzled why I stayed that long in the hospital. Don't worry guys, you'll know the reason this coming days cause I will blog about it soon..... Abangan!

Job Search!

Graduation is here again. Many hopefuls were very excited for sure and wishing to land a good job after long years of studying. As early as now, a lot of aspiring new professionals were preparing their resume's or curriculum vitae and hoping that their qualifications will fit in the job they aspiring for. Supplements!

I've been away for quite sometime for health reasons. I was hospitalized for almost 11 days. My stay in the hospital is one of the most horrible experience I'd ever had. My life is at stake, I will blog the reasons soon. For now, I am still advice for a total rest. When 3 out of 5 doctors agreed to discharge me from the hospital,I was so happy cause finally I will gid rid of needles. To date, I am still taking my medications as well as nutritional health supplements for my speedy recovery.

Go Natural

My nephew Andrei loves to eat natural food. I am referring about fresh vegetables and fruits. At the age of four he is not fond of eating processed food like hotdogs. He prefers to eat fish and chicken , he loves peanuts, fried banana and other root crops as his snacks. Hmmm... no wonder he is a smart kid. My whole family influence him hence we are green eaters, I mean we love vegetables a lot. We have our little garden at our backyard full of plants like eggplants, horse radish, cabbage, petchay, lemon grass and I am wishing to have a sidlings of Blackberry plants cause it is good as antioxidant.

Disposable

A lot of people now are using disposal materials. There are conflicting opinions of using it though but the reasons you can always hear, points about is being practical. During picnic times you can see that cups, plates, spoons and fork used are all disposables. Working mothers prefers to used disposable diapers for their babies and toddlers than the usual cloth diaper. Nursing home also consider using disposable adult diapers for the oldies than the traditional under wears for practicality reasons also. Anyways, there nothing wrong using it as long as it is properly disposed to save mother Earth.

Advantage!

When we were still young, our parents taught us to live a simple and practical life. We don't grew up with nanny's on our side. Our mom trained us to do household chores as early as 6 years old. I remember it clearly that every morning I was assigned to fix our bed, I need to arranged the mosquito net, blankets and the  pillows as well. There are times that  she scolded me for not doing it right but she is patiently teaching me  until such I do it accordingly to her  standards. She also taught us how to manage our time, he always remind us not to wait for tomorrow if we can finish our chores today. She also taught us how to budget our finances and stroke it on our minds the words "never live beyond your means".   Opps, I almost forgot I need to pay our auto insurance

Influence!

I heard in the news today that applicants for Philippine Military Academy have  increased for year 2009.  According to the informant, the television series Tayong Dalawa by ABS-CBN has contributed a lot and seems influence the young generation to joint the military services. " Tayong Dalawa" is all about 2 brothers who entered the PMA and when graduated joined the Army and Philippine Air Force. I like Jay Cuenca and Gerald Anderson who portrayed their respective  characters very well. In real life I have friends who are PMA'rs too, they are very young,  dedicated in their craft, very decipline, humble and very smart. I really admire them a lot!

Wishing for IWC Watch!

Two weeks ago, I had blog about my clumsiness cause I lost my wrist watch! That watch has sentimental value hence it was given to me by my Aunt last year when they came home from Canada. I felt very guilty for not taking extra careful while wearing it.  Today, I browse a type of watch which look like the same that I've lost. It is an IWC watch, and wishing to have one soon!
